SUNNY SKATE SERIES: Congratulations to Mat ‘Chiggy’ Chigwidden and his incredible team on pulling off a banger of a skateboarding event - and to the entire skateboarding community, what a treat it is to have a new, proper comp series on the Sunny Coast. The weekend was divided into a dedicated street day on Saturday while Sunday was reserved for the bowl rippers.

Besides skateboarding the good vibes were taken good care of with a licensed chill out area including a bar and pizza, acai, coffee and burgers for the thirsty and hungry.

The Australian Santa Cruz team joined the party on Sunday where they brought the hype to the stoked local skate kids and also showed some pretty incredible levels of skateboarding.

The support for this event was great, especially taken into account it was a first off - from talking to participants, spectators and organizers the next one will only be bigger and better. Let’s go!
